4 years ago tomorrow I went to the doctor for a regular high-risk ultrasound. I had been feeling something in my stomach, but I thought it was just the baby moving around. I had no idea those were contractions that I had been feeling.

When they started the ultrasound, they realized my cervix was barely .75 centimeters (it should have been about 4 centimeters). The dr came in to talk to me. He asked me if I was still working. I said yes. He said "Not any more." He called my OB and a nurse wheeled me over to the hospital.

We had no idea about the roller coaster ride we were about to take.

These words just make me tear up. I wish neither of us had to go on that roller coaster.

Elizabeth you are a blessing to all that know what you have gone through. We don't know why God allowed things to work out the way they did but He got you through it every step of the way. Okay now this is making me cry. I know we all miss Caleb and someday we will be with him forever. Love you, Mom.
