Memorial Service

Thank you everyone for giving us strength through your thoughts and prayers.

Caleb's memorial service will be Friday at 11:00 am at Arlington Memorial Park in Sandy Springs in their memorial garden.

Everyone who has been touched by Caleb is invited to his memorial service.

In lieu of flowers, we would like to make donations to help other babies and their parents. We are not sure exactly how we will be donating. We have talked about donating blankets or hats and socks to the NICUs at Egleston and Gwinnett. We've also talked about donating money to March of Dimes and Egleston. We've also talked about donating books about having a preemie to Gwinnett's and Egleston's NICUs. We just don't know what we want to do right now. We do have a savings account for Caleb. Any monetary donations we receive will go into his savings account until we decide how we want to donate the funds. Caleb also has a virtual band with March of Dimes so you can donate directly to March of Dimes in Caleb's name.

Caleb's obituary is in today's AJC.

Carey and Elizabeth,
Kent and I are praying for you and your family. We will donate to March of Dimes - my sister had spina bifida when she was born and we have always been aware of the need for research. On the light side, my imaginary playmate when I was quite small was "March of Dimes", so it's always been a favorite charity of mine.

Elizabeth and Cary,
You and your families are in my prayers and will continue to be in the days ahead. I just wanted you both to know that I was thinking of you. Just remember you are not walking through this time of grief and sorrow alone not only is God with you but your family and friends are here as well. We love you both.

Elizabeth and Cary,

Aaron and I are continuing to pray for you. It has been a blessing to follow Caleb's journey over the past 6 1/2 months. Your courage and strength are an inspiration to us.

We have made a donation in Caleb's name to the March of Dimes. We know how important this organization is to the children and parents affected by a premature birth. Our daughter Lauren was born 8 weeks premature and through that experience God called Aaron to a career in Neonatology. He is almost finished with his Pediatric Residency and will begin his NICU Fellowship in July. Aaron's calling to this field is because of families such as yours. He has a heart and passion for caring for these precious and tiny gifts from God.

We will always remember the blessing of Caleb's life and how every update that was given during his 6 1/2 month fight strengthened Aaron's love and desire for this profession. Lives and hearts will be touched because of Caleb's precious life. Our thoughts and prayers are with you today and in the days ahead.

Love, Jennifer and Aaron Millage
