back from the doctor

Monster now weighs 1 pound, 4 ounces. His size is in the 50th percentile for his gestational age.

Every time the ultrasound tech moved the wand monster would kick. He is very entertaining.

My cervix is still long!!! 38 mm. (avg. is 25 mm). No bedrest for me (yet)!

He is still breech. They don't worry about the baby's position until around 35 weeks. Since he's breech, when they go to check my cervix, the first thing you see is his cute little butt!

I go back to the perinat in 2 weeks. My next OB appointment is next Tuesday.

I'm suffering from a bad case of preggo brain and I forgot to get copies of the ultrasound pictures! Sorry!

Still working on getting the name of Caleb's song...

I can't wait to meet Monster. Although, I want him to wait until October. You hear that Monster? October! Yay for long cervixes. Looking forward to more updates.

Just read through your archives. I can't believe how much you and your family have been through. I really hope this pregnancy continues to go well for you. I can relate to the same fat issues in pregnancy! I was pregnant 3 months after my last pregnancy, and it shows. You look great though.....

1 lb 4 oz?! What a whopper! That's awesome. I'm glad to hear everything is going well. Hang in there little (rather, BIG) monster!

Okay, I am all caught up now on your posts. Yes, I know I have been slack, blame it on my preggo brain...and total lack of energy. You do not look fat in your second picture (or the first one for that matter). You look like you are 6 months pregnant. And, by the way, you are glowing. I know everyone says that about pregnant women, but in your case it is so true. Even when you are tired and grieving, you look beautiful. One of my favorite pictures of you is the one of you and Cary at Caleb's memorial. You both look beautiful...and peaceful. I know you may not always feel peaceful and beautiful! Anyway, I am soooooo glad that monster#2 is doing well. I am with Hedda, I can't wait to meet him, but would prefer to wait till October to do so! Stay put, little guy!
